Water Shimmer

If the water in Denver's City Park looks oily, that's because it is. West Word reported earlier this year that the city fills the lake with "purple pipe" water from the Lowry Landfill, and many industrial toxins are not removed. Dozens of ducks at City Park mysteriously died last winter. The dead duck CSI guys determine that chemicals in the water had removed the protective layers from their feathers. They sank and drowned.
