Back at Breckenridge station, at the end of a wonderful day hiking around Lake Dillon and shopping in Frisco, I decided impulsively to photograph the "Town Station" gondola that carries tourists up Peak 8 (when the gondola is running during the ski season). In late August, the place is deadsville.
